    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with adolescents and adults in a behavioral health setting and a proven ability to prescribe and manage medications for mental health conditions.

    This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adolescents and adults.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with therapists, case managers, and other clinical staff.
    • Prescribe and manage medications for mental health conditions, monitoring efficacy and side effects.
    • Provide psychoeducation to clients and families on mental health conditions, medication management, and recovery strategies.
    • Monitor treatment outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as needed to optimize results.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, integrated care.
    • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all client interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.

    Qualifications

    • Active, unrestricted certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
    • Minimum of 2+ years of post-licensure experience in psychiatric care.
    • Proven experience in prescribing and managing medications for mental health conditions.
    • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and psychopharmacology.
    • Experience working with adolescents and adults in a behavioral health or related setting.
    • Active Florida APRN license required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in-person at both Davie and Miami locations.

    Preferred Skills

    • Bilingual in Spanish or other languages.
    • Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.
    • Experience working within a collaborative care model.

    • Compensation: Based on experience
