    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for clients in rehab and sober living.

    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing psychiatric and substance use disorders.

    Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications while considering medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders.

    Provide psychoeducation to clients regarding medications, mental health conditions, and coping strategies.

    Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to ensure integrated care for clients.

    Monitor for signs of medication misuse, withdrawal, and relapse, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.

    Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

    Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and staff training as needed.

    Advocate for trauma-informed and harm-reduction approaches in psychiatric care.

    Qualifications:

    Active PMHNP license in Kentucky.

    Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

    Experience working with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and trauma-informed care.

    Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorders.

    Strong understanding of HIPAA, ethical considerations, and harm reduction principles.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

    CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience working in rehab, sober living, or community mental health settings.

    Familiarity with 12-step programs, Matrix Model, and evidence-based therapies for addiction recovery.

    Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
