Psychiatrist - Part-Time Transitions Clinic of Sacramento - Oak Park, Sacramento

Position Overview We are seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at our addiction medicine clinic in Oak Park, Sacramento. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in addiction treatment while maintaining work-life balance through part-time hours.

Hours & Compensation ● 8 hours per week ● $200 per hour ● Flexible scheduling options available ● Estimated annual compensation: $83,200 (based on 52 weeks)

Key Responsibilities ● Conduct psychiatric evaluations for patients with substance use disorders ● Develop and manage treatment plans integrating both addiction medicine and mental health care ● Prescribe and monitor medications for both substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions ● Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team including therapists, social workers, and medical staff ● Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences ● Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records ● Provide consultation to other healthcare providers as needed Required Qualifications ● MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school ● Board certification in Psychiatry ● Current California medical license in good standing ● DEA certification including DATA 2000 waiver ● Experience in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ● Electronic medical record proficiency

Preferred Qualifications ● Board certification in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine ● Experience working in an outpatient addiction treatment setting ● Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in addiction treatment ● Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
