Job Summary: The Psychiatrist will provide 9-11 hours of comprehensive psychiatric care to patients across various age groups and mental health conditions, offering expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. This role involves working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centered care, ensuring all clinical and regulatory standards are met. The Psychiatrist will provide high-quality, compassionate care in a variety of settings, contributing to the overall mental and emotional well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic interviews, mental health assessments, and treatment planning for patients of all ages.
Provide individualized treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy, and referrals to other specialists when appropriate.
Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Offer crisis intervention and support in acute care situations.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
Documentation and Compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring all notes, treatment plans, and patient communications are completed within established timeframes.
Adhere to all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, and ensure that patient care meets established standards of practice.
Submit necessary documentation and reports to meet legal, organizational, and insurance requirements.
On-Call Availability
Provide on-call psychiatric services, as needed, to address urgent psychiatric needs or consultations during designated hours.
Professional Development and Education
Stay current on developments in psychiatric practices, medications, and treatment approaches through continuing education and professional development.
Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and supervision to support ongoing learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
Active licensure to practice in the relevant state(s).
Valid DEA certification and any applicable state-specific licensing requirements.
Experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
