    The Role:

    • Prospect, build relationships and close new brand clients for Publicis Sport brand consulting business amongst the existing Publicis client roster and external prospects
    • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders across the Publicis agency ecosystem. These include global agency client leads, strategy, media teams and others.
    • Prospect, lead the business development process and close new business for Publicis Sports “products” – ie sports vertical media and or research /data focused products for brands and rights holders.
    • Act as the sports content “expert” while working with other Publicis agency team’s on new business or upsell opportunities.
    • Meet and exceed new business goals for the Publicis Sport core consulting business and for sports vertical products.
    • Take a very disciplined approach to prospect development, time management and forecasting
    • Be flexible, nimble and aggressive as Publicis Sport business and client offerings evolve

    Key Accountability:

    • A consistent track record of success closing new business and growing revenue YOY.
    • Brand relationships with C level executives or other decision makers.
    • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability and proven track record of closing business from the introduction stage through to contract
    • Experience, successful track record of closing multiyear, high value deals
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
    • Must be a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    • Proven ability to lead and interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
    • Aptitude for taking several platforms to market
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 8-10 years working in Business development / Sales at a rights holder (league or team) or a sports media property
    • Demonstrated ability to build impactful presentations and proposals that are rooted in client business strategies and objectives

    Compensation Range: $143,000-$240,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
