    Job Description

    The VP, Strategy leads a Strategy team on a single large or several small-medium accounts. You will report into the SVP, Client Lead. The VP, Strategy owns the client relationship and account management. You will work with cross-functional leadership, guide the planning process, guarantee timelines are met, compile and organizes agency deliverables, and ensure cross-functional teams are consulted and informed.

    Your Impact:

    Knowledge

    · Extensive HCP pharma media experience across a diverse set of conditions, disease states, and audiences

    · Some perspective beyond Pharma to bring best practices for media across audiences and channels (e.g. CPG, retail)

    · Understand the total marketing process and the strategic role of media

    · Contribute to thought leadership in the form of POV’s

    · Analyze output from media research tools and software

    · Approach planning from a holistic, media-agnostic perspective

    · Self-educate on PHM, Publicis Groupe, and client business functions, capabilities, tools, and processes

    Managing & Leading Others

    · Responsible for daily oversight of the Strategy team

    · Responsible for Strategy team adherence to roles, responsibilities, and processes

    · Work with cross-functional teams

    · Provide clear communication on business initiatives and client requests

    · Ensure teams are trained on tools and processes

    · Ensure new hires are thoroughly on-boarded and trained

    · Drive adherence to PHM processes and best practices

    · Participate in formal development process, including performance management, goal-setting, mid- and yearly reviews

    · Nurture and develops mid-level and lower-level talent on assigned accounts

    · Participate in PHM’s interviewing efforts

    · Contribute to PHM's culture

    Strategy & Account Management

    · Own overall media strategy, approach, and plan on each account

    · Drive the planning process

    · Oversee Strategy team in developing clients’ media strategies

    · Own strategic questions and concerns related to the client’s media efforts

    · Collaborate with internal cross-functional leaders to ensure strategic alignment of deliverables with client needs

    · Represent the interests of cross-functional teams in client and agency partner meetings where those teams are absent

    · Develop deliverables timelines in partnership with cross-functional teams

    · Push for continuous improvement of self, team, and client deliverables

    · Provide a point of escalation

    Organic Growth and New Business

    · Execute EVP’s business plan and organic growth plan

    · Volunteer for pitch teams, task forces, side hustles.

    · Encourage team to incorporate new agency initiatives into recommendations

    · Assist Client Lead in scoping client work with Business Management

    Client Service

    · Responsible for daily relationships with clients and agency partners

    · Convey passion for clients and their businesses

    · Work with clients to shape their marketing priorities

    · Develop new client relationships

    · Model outstanding client service for team

    · Guide professional, impactful standards within team for all written and verbal contact with clients; 'gold-standard' writer and presenter

    · Serve as point of escalation for client concerns

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years current HCP Pharma experience
    • 10+ years media experience
    • 6+ years management experience
    • Deep cross-channel media experience
    • Familiarity with standard media research and planning tools (e.g. Clear Decisions)

    Compensation Range: $121,000 - $175,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the qualifications of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, we will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
