SUMMARY
Monitors pump house to keep it in top operating condition and running at its highest efficiency. Logs data, monitors, maintains and assist in repair of equipment. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests. Applicant's must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Keep records of equipment operating parameters by filling out log sheets on equipment and systems and recording any problems/issues.
- Reduces downtime by repairing equipment or replacing parts, checking and replenishing fluids and monitoring equipment running parameters.
- Maintains equipment reliability and warranty by doing routine maintenance.
- Runs plant at best efficiency by calculating how much equipment can be run and anticipating and resolving problems.
- Maintains air and water pressure by starting/stopping pumps and compressors; directing starting and stopping of compressors; directing starting and stopping of snow guns.
- Communicates regularly with snowmaking crew, including by not limited to, air/water pressure, temperatures and other pertinent information.
- Controls electric utility supply and cost by following procedures and guidelines.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Responsible for company tool inventory and maintenance, including parts, oil & snowmax.
- Responsible for keeping pump house and shop area clean and neat.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.
