    Job Summary:

    The Fire Safety First Purchasing Agent is responsible for managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate records of inventory by tracking incoming and outgoing goods.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence risks.
    • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with suppliers/vendors to facilitate efficient communication, issue, resolution, and
    • Works with suppliers to ensure the quality of procured goods and services, implement quality control measures, and resolve quality issues promptly.
    • Handles routine clerical tasks relating to entering or updating inventory data.
    • Checking for accuracy of entered data and identifying discrepancies to resolve issues with relevant departments
    • Generates reports and analyzes procurement data to provide insights, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-driven decisions.
    • Continuously assesses and improves procurement processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

    Experience/Training/Education:

    • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with several years of progressively responsible roles.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Knowledge of procurement software and systems.
    • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices.

    Job Type:

    • Full-time, on-site, Monday - Friday

    • 40 hours a week
