  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As the Purchasing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting key purchasing and quality initiatives, with opportunities to collaborate across departments including Engineering, Quality, and Materials.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with identifying and coordinating cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
    • Support the Purchasing and Quality teams, as well as internal stakeholders, by providing data analysis, documentation, and process updates.
    • Maintain and update cost-tracking summaries; ensure accurate communication with relevant team members.
    • Conduct audits of purchase orders (back details and communication)
    • Help maintain compliance documents within the purchasing master list.
    • Coordinate sample parts with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
    • Support engineering change processes and engineering-to-order activities.
    • Collaborate with the Materials team on ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required
    • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication, collaboration, and active listening
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
