Responsibilities: • Analyze inventory levels and trends to determine optimal purchasing quantities and timing. • Ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory costs. • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. • Secure the best deals and maintain a reliable supply chain with minimal costs • Implement inventory control procedures to accurately track stock movements and minimize discrepancies. • Generate reports on purchasing activity, inventory turnover, and cost savings to support decision-making. • Provide insights for strategic planning and cost-effective inventory management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, to forecast demand and plan purchases accordingly. • Ensure alignment between purchasing activities and overall business goals. Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in purchasing and inventory management • 2+ years wholesale or distribution company experience • Bachelor's degree minimum • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work with accounting systems • US work authorization • ability to work 5 days a week in store and be on your feet 50% of the time minimum Compensation: $52,000 yearly including bonus
