KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Lead Teacher, the Pure Barre Teacher is responsible for teaching Pure Barre classes and properly executing the Pure Barre technique. All teachers are required to complete a paid 4-day training either virtually or at one of our corporate training centers in the NYC area, as well as significant 'at home' study and preparation for certification before being eligible to teach classes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Pure Barre Teacher role encompasses but is not limited to the following specific responsibilities and duties:
Required to teach a minimum of three classes per week or 12 classes per month (classes are offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Availability to teach weekend classes
Diligent planning and preparation before each class, as well as learning full choreography changes on a quarterly basis
Must arrive at studio 20 minutes prior to class and stay 10 minutes post class
Must attend monthly teacher meetings and continued education workshops
Assist with keeping the studio tidy
Ability to lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain high-energy for 50-minute class is required
All teachers are required to complete an accredited CPR / AED course
