Job Summary:

Townsend Energy is looking for and Propane Tank Setter and Service Technician our Somersworth, NH location. This role will be trained and supported by a highly successful member of the team who is committed to your success.

The Propane Tank Setter and Service Technician will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining Propane equipment in a timely manner. This individual will assist the service manager/supervisor to succeed in giving our customers the best service possible.

What You’ll Do:

· Set tanks and assist helping others with tank sets

· Run lines in ground

· Prep tanks and pump down tanks

· Assist in piping inside buildings

· Stand inspections

· Install and change monitors

· Cathodic testing

· Assist as needed in all locations

· Assist in inventory counting and part numbers

· Maintain Epping, Somersworth, and Manchester yards

· Maintain truck and keep in working order

· All work to exceed industry standards

What You’ll Need:

· 3+ years’ experience of Propane Tank Setter and Service Technician experience

· Valid Driver’s license

· NH Gas Fitters license

· Maine Gas Fitters License (preferred – not required)

· CDL B with Hazmat (preferred – not required)

· Ability/experience driving a bobtail in the winter

· Ability to work a variety of hours, including but not limited to staggered shifts and limited on-call rotation

· Must be able to work as part of a team and/or take initiative independent of direct supervision

· Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as: safety rules, policies and procedures, and instruction manuals

· Ability to communicate with customers, management, and/or colleagues in a professional and effective manner, both in-person and on the phone
