    Job Summary: As the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities of the corporation.

    What You'll Do:

    Reconciliation and analysis of general ledger

    Posting of standard and monthly adjusting journal entries

    Responsible for treasury functions and bank reconciliations

    Support internal and external audits (financial and 401k)

    MA Sales and Use Tax compliance

    Fixed asset accounting – forecast, add, dispose, depreciate

    A/R & A/P maintenance – responsible for keeping balances current and within limits

    Customer and Vendor master data maintenance and compliance

    Work closely with other departments to achieve company objectives

    Support payroll functions

    Assist in general administrative needs such as improving processes and training relevant personnel on accounting related functions

    Interact and work with individuals from many departments to explain and relate financial results to operational activities

    What You'll Need:

    2-4 years of accounting experience preferably in manufacturing

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

    Experience with MRP/ERP software

    Advanced Excel and MS Office skills

    High attention to detail and accuracy.

    Strong analytical skills with an ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions.

    Curiosity – must possess the desire to understand systems and root causes in order to make improvements

    Broad knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Sound EQ (emotional intelligence) skills and the ability to overcome challenges.
