  • Responsibilities

    Are you a QA Inspector looking for a new role in Neptune, NJ? This role will be responsible for inspection of materials/products using manual, visual, measurement and/or test equipment and established documentation procedures to assure that only acceptable parts are meet the specification requirements. The lead inspector is responsible of ensuring compliance with internal procedures and policies. Assistance in periodic reviews of discrepancies to identify problem areas, root cause, and recommend corrective actions, and effective improvements.

    Responsibilities

    • Obtain/Perform samples and conduct appropriate inspection of materials/product to associated procedures.
    • Document inspection results and, prepare documentation for approval.
    • Review and approve documentation
    • Apply status labeling on product and components as required.
    • Recognize and report deviations, equipment concerns, or potential problems immediately
    • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams on quality improvement projects or corrective actions.
      • Follow cGMPs and documentation practices in daily activities
      • Work closely with various members of Manufacturing, and Warehouse to ensure that essential materials are inspected.
      • Aseptic technique may be required, including clean room gowning/sampling
      • Detail oriented and possess the ability to communicate effectively.
      • Stay current with all assigned training requirements.
      • Performs other related duties as required.
      • Recognize and report deviations, equipment concerns, or potential problems immediately
    • Assist other QA inspectors who might need assistance.

    Qualification

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Prior documentation experience required.
    • Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. The ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred.
    • Basic Math.
    • Quick learner, customer focused, accountable, and operates with a sense of urgency.
    • Ability to make logical decisions, often quickly.
    • Ability to problem solve effectively.
    • Basic computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Must be able to be on his/her feet most of the day.
    • Ability to identify all colors visually colors and the ability to visually discern product specifications on multiple products.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds or more as needed.
    • Use of standard office equipment, including computer keyboard, monitor, and mouse.
    • Able to react quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Flexibility as overtime may be required.
