FULL-TIME POSITION TO START IMMEDIATELY! We are a dynamic and growing company specializing in sheet metal fabrication and welding. We are expanding to the RIDGEWAY, SC area and looking for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN experienced with Amada Turret and Amada Brake Press diagnostics and repair.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs new machines and relocates existing machines as required
• Perform machine repair tasks with a minimum supervision
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electric, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Work jointly with machine manufacturer technicians on tele-diagnostic or field service visits
• Works from blueprints and manuals to perform required work
• Identifies parts and/or components required to complete repairs
• Levels and aligns machinery using all necessary inspection equipment
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance to identify and recommend required work
• Properly fills out Maintenance Work Requests to ensure accurate records of work performed on all machinery

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have experience with CNC Machining equipment such as Amada Turret and Amada Brake Presses
• Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing skills as related to a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC controllers.
• Ability to operate motorized lifts and forklifts.
• Demonstrated experience using various small and pneumatic hand tools.
• College or technical school training in an electrical or mechanical related field desired.
