    Longbow Industries, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Manager to provide 'hands-on' leadership and manage the day-to-day payroll operations for our workforce of over 400 multi-state employees, including hourly (non-exempt), salaried (exempt), and prevailing wage workers.

    Required Skills

    • Manage and guarantee accurate weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, withholdings, benefits, per diem, and taxes consistent with federal and respective state wage and hour laws.
    • Ensure accurate processing of new hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
    • Lead and mentor a payroll staff; set goals and evaluate performance.
    • Manage regular preparation of relevant reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end close functions and reports; generate and mail W-2 forms.

    Required Experience

    • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent level of expertise in a relevant field.
    • Minimum five (5) years of previous payroll management experience in the construction industry.
    • Knowledge of state, federal, and local payroll regulations with an emphasis on multi-state and local taxation.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
