    Job Description

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Qualified Mental Health Practitioner (QMHP) to join our multidisciplinary team. The QMHP will provide therapeutic services, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and case management, to clients with diverse mental health needs. This role involves collaborating with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs and formulate accurate diagnoses.
    • Therapeutic Intervention: Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions to address various mental health concerns.
    • Crisis Management: Offer immediate support and intervention during mental health crises to ensure client safety and stability.
    • Case Management: Coordinate care by linking clients to community resources, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to provide holistic care.
    • Advocacy: Empower clients by advocating for their needs and assisting them in navigating the healthcare system.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services, preferably in a community-based setting.
    • Licensure: Current QMHP certification or eligibility to obtain certification as per state regulations.
    • Skills: Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in case management, and familiarity with electronic health records.

    Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
