Job Description: Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP)

Position Overview:
As a Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP), you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the delivery of EIDBI services to ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards. You will be responsible for supervising a team of behavioral therapists and ensuring that treatment plans are effectively implemented and modified as necessary to meet the individual needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervision and Oversight: Provide direct supervision and oversight to behavioral therapists delivering EIDBI services.
- Clinical Leadership:Lead and guide the implementation of treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based practices.
- Assessment and Planning: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's developmental and behavioral needs.
- Training and Development: Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to behavioral therapists to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes. Prepare detailed reports for internal review and external stakeholders as required.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals involved in the client's care.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with state regulations, organizational policies, and quality assurance standards.
- Family and Caregiver Support: Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers on implementing strategies and interventions at home and in other natural settings.
Qualifications:
- Be a physician, advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), developmental or behavioral pediatrician or licensed mental health professional.
- Have a QSP license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing behavioral interventions to individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of EIDBI services, ABA principles, and other evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
