    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to join our team! You will be working as a Senior QA Consultant onsite with the client as a consultant. The QA Consultant works with project stakeholders and the development teams to ensure adherence to quality standards. Help identify defects in project deliverables and track defects through remediation. Maintain traceability of requirements and validate requirements with test cases to ensure test results meet expectations. Follow define procedures to help the development team implement and validate change requests.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct quality review walkthroughs of business requirements documentation.

    Oversee all Quality Assurance test plans, cases, and scripts.

    Interact with Developers, User Groups, Business Analysts, System Administrators, SMEs, and other project team members.

    Use analytical and problem-solving skills to validate IT processes through testing

    Define QA measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements

    Provide reports, recommendations, and alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas

    Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to established Quality Assurance standards

    Execute test plans, cases, and scripts for user acceptance testing

    Define test plan to rigorously test product functionality and investigate potential test failures

    Ensure that test results demonstrate applications meet business requirements and systems goals

    Collaborate with software/systems personnel to perform unit, regression, and acceptance testing

    Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders

    Develop and maintain defect management

    Perform bug fix verification and validation including

    Define change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies

    Provide strategic quality plans in targeted areas of the organization.

    Provide QA strategies to maintain compliance with industry standards, regulations and requirements

    Develop and implement life cycle and QA methodologies and QA metrics.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Experience and Skills Requirements

    7+ years of relevant and current experience as IT Project Manager

    Proficiency with JIRA

    Proficiency with automated testing tools

    Familiarity with Agile System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or other industry-standard tools

    Most recent edition of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Business Analyst Body of Knowledge

    Experience working with state and local government clients is a plus

    Experience with state transportation sector is highly desired

    Must be able to commute and work onsite in Baltimore

    Degree/Certification Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree or higher

    ITIL Certificate (Desired)

    MCSE or equivalent certificate (Desired)

    Security Requirements

    Must be willing to submit and complete successfully a criminal background investigation (Mandatory)

    Current and active security clearance is a plus (Public Trust or higher)
