    Job Description

    First Shift Position - Quality Assurance Measurement Technician

    Responsible for Receiving Inspection, First Article and In-process Inspection. Serves as a back up for QA Inspector and Repair/Refurbishment technician. Other duties as assigned by management team.

    Job Expectations :

    Safety & 5S Housekeeping:

    • Associate constantly demonstrates safety awareness by following safety protocols
    • Keeps work area neat and clean according to established 5S standards
    • Wears designated PPE and reports unsafe acts and/or conditions

    Quality & Customer Focus:

    • Associate consistently achieves and occasionally exceed quality goals that support customer requirements
    • Work satisfies quality requirements of position
    • Associate’s work is neat and accurate

    Job Knowledge & Productivity:

    • Interpret blueprint and layout drawings identifying unilateral, bilateral tolerances and critical characteristics.
    • Possesses math skills and mechanical aptitude to perform job responsibilities.
    • Ability to select proper gage to measure dimensions.
    • Fully proficient in the care and use of hand gauges.
    • Fully conversant with CMM dimensional elements and has the ability load, unload fixtures etc. and call up assigned programs.
    • Conducts and records results of eLPC’s
    • Consistently achieves and occasional exceeds daily productivity goals that support customer delivery targets
    • Quantity of work and efficiency meets job requirements. Good use of time.
    • May be required to share job knowledge with Rexroth Trainees and/or Temp employees

    Teamwork & Communication:

    • Understands and embraces (CIP) process improvement concepts
    • Actively participates and positively contributes in team meetings
    • Effectively works with others to overcome obstacles and accomplish operational goals

    Attendance:

    • Associate arrives to work area and is prepared to work at start of shift
    • Maintains good attendance, supported by the absence of warning notices
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    High school or GED preferred. Must have basic math skills and read/understand blueprints. Manufacturing experience 3 years to 5 years. Preferred skills and knowledge in Blue print reading, Gage usage, Gage calibration, and geometric tolerances. Good attendance record.
