  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Conducts new employee training both in person and virtually ensuring employee learning paths are being followed.
    • Assesses training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with leadership
    • Designs, plans, organizes, or directs orientation and training programs for employees or customers
    • Create and update training initiatives and material as need to increase new hire proficiency after training.
    • Offers specific training of workforce development programs (SNAP, TANF, WIOA, TAA) to help employees maintain, improve, enhance job skills
    • Presents information with a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures - Travel within the state may be required at times
    • Evaluates internal reports and provides all required monitoring documents
    • Develops and implements continuous quality improvement processes
    • Documents case managers are performing timely and accurate case management activities in all required systems
    • Provides monitoring reports to QA Manager
    • Conducts surveillance of workforce activities and uses statistical sampling, audit, and observation techniques to evaluate compliance with policies and procedures and adherence to contract requirements
    • Implements a continuous quality improvement process through the continuing review of operations and administrative systems
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Related Bachelors degree preferred and two years of experience in staff and/or organizational development and training and public speaking, or 2 plus years professional experience in training and public speaking or related position
    • Must possess excellent computer skills, including but not limited to, experience with creating and maintain training databases, PowerPoint, Canva, Kahoot, and other presentation platforms
    • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
    • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written skills
    • Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
    • Must possess the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with customers, team members, and leadership

    Additional Information

    • Must have or be able to obtain AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
    • Have a valid Arizona Driver’s License and Insurance
    • Ability to travel within the local area or state when needed
