Quality Control Inspector |C&D Scrap Metal Recyclers

The Role

The Quality Control Inspector is an hourly position responsible for daily scale operations at C&D Scrap Metal. This includes, but not limited to, directing traffic flow within the facility, communicating with Scale Operators to ensure accuracy in grading and adjustments of materials, and assisting in ensuring the accuracy on all loads and shipments.

Responsibilities

· Report directly to and work at the direction of the Outdoors Retail Greeter.

· Accurately documenting grading of materials

· Accurately documenting adjustments.

· Communicating with Scale Operators to ensure accuracy in all loads and shipments.

· Guiding customers to offloading destination.

· Complying with state and city regulations related to the material and customer processing activities.

· All other responsibilities that may be determined as relevant to the role.

Location & commitments

· Full-time.

· Some travel to satellite locations may be required.

· Saturdays as needed.

Candidate requirements

· Bilingual is required.

· Customer service skills.

· Detail oriented.

· Computer literacy and familiarity with basic Office programs, including the ability to learn software.

· Must be comfortable working in an outdoor loud warehouse environment.

· Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
