Essential functions include performing inspections, checks, and tests and maintaining records of quality control for product inspections. The Quality Control Inspector receives/inspects raw materials, materials in process, finished products, supply items, returned materials, and repaired products for conformance to specifications. This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and measuring in English and Metric units.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED). The Florida Ready to Work credential is desired, and completion of OSHA 10 training is a plus.
Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English, preferably lift 50 pounds, and have visual acuity to perform the essential functions. 3-5 years of quality control inspection experience (preferably in medical device manufacturing) is required. All candidates must pass a drug screen and background check.
This is a temporary to a permanent position after a 90-day probationary period.
