    Compensation: $23 - $26 per hour

    ** Overview: Nexus HR is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a medical equipment manufacturing company specializing in centrifuges, incubators, cold storage units, test kits, and drug destruction machines. This hands-on role involves working directly with machines and instruments to ensure all products meet strict quality standards before distribution.**

    About the Job

    The Quality Control Technician will perform equipment setup, inspections, and functional testing. The role involves maintaining the Quality Management System and conducting vendor conformance inspections and documentation. This position offers a dynamic work environment with hands-on responsibilities beyond a traditional workbench role.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Finalize equipment setup, including installing rotors, markers, and wiring harnesses.

    • Inspect equipment assembly, wiring, and circuitry for accuracy and compliance with specifications.

    • Perform functional and acceptance tests on all machinery and devices.

    • Support and improve quality control processes, including troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.

    • Document inspection results and maintain records in compliance with Quality Management System requirements.

    • Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to resolve equipment and quality issues.

    • Use test and measurement tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and electrical safety analyzers.

    Qualifications :

    • High school diploma or equivalent; electronic technology training is a plus.

    • Minimum 1 year of quality inspection experience in equipment manufacturing; technical support experience is a plus.

    • Familiarity with test and measurement equipment (voltmeter, ohmmeter, electrical safety analyzer).

    • Experience with Quality Management System requirements (Nonconforming Material, Corrective and Preventive Action).

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) at a basic level (intermediate preferred) and experience with Google Chrome or Firefox.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and within a team.

    • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are a plus.

    Physical Demands:

    • Frequent sitting for extended periods.

    • Occasional standing for long periods.

    • Lifting items up to 50 pounds.

    • Reaching above shoulder height and below the waist as needed.
