  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    • Ensure compliance to external automotive standards by sorting outdated documents and combining documents to improve efficiency of document control system
    • Collaborate closely with all departments in the plant, including Production, Research & Development and Engineering to review document needs and compliance
    • Verify alignment with IATF 16949 automotive industry standards
    • Learn automotive industry rules and guidelines internationally, and Continental rules and guidelines
    • Understand requirements for documents in a global matrix organization
    • Improve efficiency and work structured on complex problems

    THE ENVIRONMENT

    • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures and guidelines must always be adhered to. Applicants must be able to work in a manufacturing industrial environment and be able to wear personal protective equipment such as safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

    • Part-time paid internship (8-10 hours/week) during the semester, and full-time (40 hours/week) during summer
    • Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student in a U.S. accredited college, university or technical college, with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
    • Must have excellent computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • No relocation assistance or housing assistance is offered for this position.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
