We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join a high-performing team at a state-of-the-art production facility specializing in specialty materials. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving continuous improvement across Environmental, Health & Safety, product quality, process stability, and customer satisfaction. Your work will directly support dynamic growth in high-tech manufacturing sectors.
* Apply statistical techniques (e.g., Pareto analysis, data trending, DOE, Gage R&R) to troubleshoot and resolve process and quality issues.
* Lead or participate in root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D, or Fishbone diagrams to address quality, safety, and production challenges.
* Generate, monitor, and trend production and customer data using statistical tools and software.
* Develop and maintain reporting systems to provide regular performance updates to management.
* Lead or participate in Lean Six Sigma activities (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, SMED, visual management) to streamline processes and enhance quality systems.
* Implement tools such as process maps, control plans, and standard work to drive ongoing improvements.
* Facilitate internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, RC 14001) and assist in resolving any non-conformities.
* Manage change control processes and support effective change point management.
* Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address customer complaints and production issues.
* Oversee Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to completion, ensuring effectiveness of implemented solutions.
* Prepare technical documentation including procedures, work instructions, guides, and manuals.
* Ensure quality audit processes and system documentation are maintained accurately.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
* 3–5 years of experience managing quality systems and utilizing statistical process control tools.
* Proven experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and IATF16949.
* Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Why, 8D, Fishbone).
* Familiarity with FMEA facilitation, control plan development, and change control processes.
* Hands-on experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
* Experience with database management systems is beneficial.
* Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
* Strong project management capabilities with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
* A customer-focused approach with effective problem-solving skills.
