    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Responsible for managing the site's Quality System, ensuring compliance through regular internal audits and management reviews. Continuously evaluate processes to identify areas of improvement, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Monitor and report on all non-conforming materials, actively seeking the root cause of issues. Drive corrective actions by collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to address and resolve quality concerns.

    Serve as the head of the Material Review Board (MRB) and the Product Life Cycle Change Control Board. Take an active role in leading and improving these business processes, ensuring the efficient management of materials and changes to product designs or processes. Collaborate with the Design team to ensure new products are validated appropriately, contributing to the successful launch of products at each stage of the product life cycle. Ensure all new products meet quality standards before they move into full-scale production.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    People:

    • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality. Inspire the team to prioritize customer requirements and deliver products that consistently meet or exceed these expectations. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement where quality is central to every decision and process.
    • Collaborate closely with design and test engineering teams to maintain the highest quality standards for both new and existing products. Actively identify and address quality issues to ensure swift resolution and maintain product excellence and customer satisfaction.

    Process:

    • Support the Director of Quality Assurance & Corporate Certification to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Quality Management System.
    • Update and maintain the Quality Systems Manual, while leading Power & Data Systems management review meetings.
    • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, driving positive changes and process enhancements.
    • Implement engineering changes on the shop floor and participate in the change control process.
    • Conduct internal audits across all business functions, collaborate with relevant parties to discuss corrective actions, and report results and solutions.
    • Assist Purchasing with Supplier Quality audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance and quality.
    • Work with Engineering to ensure effective product design validation before exiting the development stage in the product life cycle.
    • Cross-functionally troubleshoot and resolve issues with receiving, production, product development, and operations teams.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Quality function and the organization.

    Performance:

    • Develop and implement a training plan to ensure all employees understand their role and impact within the QMS.
    • Report on operational metrics for Power & Data Systems, identifying areas requiring corrective actions and driving necessary improvements.
    • Ensure a safe work environment by recommending and implementing safety improvements as needed.
    • Manage and report on discrepant materials in incoming inventory, work-in-process, and finished goods. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
    • Oversee the Corrective Action Request (CAR) process for all internal processes, and manage supplier quality programs and corrective actions.
    • Write detailed reports and develop metrics to analyze yields, inventory levels, scrap rates, and other trend data to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Foster a continuous improvement mindset throughout the Manufacturing organization, focusing on visual management, standard work, and structured problem-solving techniques.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

    • Bachelor's degree in industrial, Metrology, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
    • 2-5 years of quality experience in electronics manufacturing (preferred). Other relevant experience will be considered.
    • Proven ability to manage corrective action systems, supplier quality systems, incoming inspections, internal audits, and management reviews.
    • Proficient in plotting, charting, and analyzing numerical data using statistical analysis software.
    • Experience in managing and handling electrical and ESD-sensitive materials.
    • Understanding of design and drafting standards, especially for checking and releasing engineering drawings.
    • Lead Auditor Certification (preferred).
    • Active ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (preferred).
    • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (desired).
    • Familiar with inspection methods for circuit boards, including IPC-610 and IPC-620.
    • Experience writing inspection methods and procedures for handling raw materials.

    • Knowledgeable of ISO 9001:2015 Quality standard and supporting elements.

    Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
