    Position Title: Senior Quality Engineer

    Compensation: Competitive salary with a 10% annual bonus and excellent benefits, including a 9/80 work schedule.

    Position Overview:

    The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer requirements, playing a critical role in new product introductions, contract reviews, and supporting the quality management system. This position will also provide quality assurance support for key accounts, helping to drive improvements and maintain high standards across manufacturing processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Define, interpret, and apply quality standards to new and existing products and processes.
    • Analyze technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate interpretation of dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T symbols.
    • Lead APQP processes, including PFMEA analysis and the development of inspection plans for critical product characteristics.
    • Utilize capability studies, Measurement System Analysis, and other methodologies to determine optimal inspection techniques.
    • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing nonconformities, customer complaints, and audit findings.
    • Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits as needed, ensuring full compliance with documented requirements.
    • Collaborate with external customers to resolve product discrepancies and manage NCR processes.

    Selection Criteria:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business or Engineering.
    • 5+ years of quality experience in aerospace, automotive, or heavy manufacturing environments, with 3+ years in a management capacity.
    • Preferred: Black or Green Belt certification.
    • Strong understanding and experience with quality management systems such as AS9100, AS13100, or IATF 16949.
    • Proven track record in implementing APQP, conducting root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why methods), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Hands-on experience with MRB evaluations and Gage R&R programs.
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to lead project teams and resolve conflicts.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards for calibration and experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
