    Job Summary: Our team is searching for a diligent Quality Improvement and Compliance Specialist to contribute to WellView Care’s mission to provide high quality healthcare services to our community. This role is responsible for inventory best practices and standard operating procedures in the pharmacy department and ensures appropriate levels of inventory are maintained and available. This role will improve the process and procedure in which WVC distributes and coordinates medication services to its patients.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Audit and Compliance Monitoring Serves as subject matter expert for 340 B audit and compliance for Nabe and PreventRX Pharmacy Ensures that the organization complies with all federal and state regulations related to the 340B program audit. This includes staying updated on changes to 340B regulations and auditor guidance, such as required documentation, application/ audit submittal, audit completion, or certification requirements. Conducts routine audits of pharmacy operations, including drug inventory management, 340b patient chart requirements, and script compliance

    Address questions and provide support related to 340B program compliance and audits. Establish and oversee processes for ongoing monitoring and internal audits.

    Inventory Management Review and maintain inventory records for 340B drugs to track medication properly.

    Verifying that 340B medications are stored separately from non-340B medications at all locations Verify that the inventory management system is accurate and up to date.

    Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, corrective actions, and recommendations for improving compliance for upper management Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports to alternative regulatory entities.

    Documentation and Record-Keeping:

    Ensure all documentation is organized and readily accessible for internal and external reviews. Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, including audits, training sessions, and communications with regulatory agencies.

    Problem Resolution:

    Investigate and resolve issues related to 340B program compliance, such as discrepancies in medication inventory or patient eligibility issues. Collaborate with internal teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
