Position Summary: We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our spring manufacturing facility. The Quality
Inspector will ensure products meet quality standards throughout the production process and will work
closely with Quality Management and manufacturing teams to resolve discrepancies, maintaining
production efficiency and product excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
• Apply and ensure compliance with AS9100 Quality Standard.
• Conduct First Article/First Piece Inspections and AS9102 inspections.
• Perform final inspections and understand Acceptance Quality Limits (AQLs).
• Document inspection results and resolve issues with manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Maintain document control and collaborate with customer source representatives.
• Conduct receiving inspections and manage calibration of hand-held tools.
• Perform 100% inspection and load testing of springs.
• Ensure department cleanliness and safety.
• Read blueprints and instructions to meet quality expectations.
• Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards.
• Select and inspect output samples using appropriate methods.
• Communicate with manufacturing to resolve measurement discrepancies.
• Present suspected issues to manufacturing management.
• Participate in department meetings and maintain 6S standards.
Qualifications:
• Experience as a quality inspector.
• Keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, and digital
comparators.
• Must be a US citizen and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in English and Microsoft Office applications.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm
