Quality Inspector (Electric Heaters) @ Hanibal, MO 1099 Contractor)

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct PIM Inspection of Electric Heater under QM 31 (Heat Transfer Equipment).
Inspect the following Electric Heater Items
Verify compliance with Aramco standards and specifications.
Document inspection findings and provide a detailed report.
Technical Qualifications:
MANDATORY Aramco-Approved Inspector Certification.
QM 31 Code Qualification for inspecting heat transfer equipment (electric heaters, heat exchangers, pressure vessels).
Expertise in heat transfer principles, including resistance heating elements, control systems, and insulation integrity.
Proficiency in industry standards: ASME BPVC, API 530 & 660, NACE, IEC/IEEE Electrical Standards.
Experience in Performance Integrity Management (PIM) Inspections, ensuring compliance with material specs, welding, and safety standards.
Skilled in technical drawings (P&IDs, isometrics, WPS/PQR) and NDT methods (PT, UT, RT, VT) for structural integrity assessments.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in inspection of heat transfer equipment (Electric Heaters)
Certifications Needed:
Aramco-Approved Inspector Certification (Active)
MANDATORY QM 31 Code Qualification for heat transfer equipment inspection
NDT Certifications (preferred but not mandatory): ASNT Level II/III in PT, UT, RT, and/or VT
PREFERRED API 510/570/571/580 Certifications
PREFERRED ASME/AWS Welding Inspection Certification
Industry Experience:
Extensive oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy sector experience in inspection and QA/QC of heat transfer equipment.
Prior Saudi Aramco project experience with a strong understanding of ARAMCO standards and specifications.
Hands-on expertise in electric heaters, fired heaters, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and piping systems.
Experience in EPC projects for refineries, gas plants, and power generation facilities.
Proficient in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSIs), and vendor audits.
Strong QA/QC background in manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) for heat transfer equipment.
