    Job Description

    The Quality Inspector/Monitor – Temporary Summer Help inspects and monitors the quality of the manufacturing ware prior to shipping.

    The Quality Inspector/Monitor-Temporary Summer Help should have:

    • Be highly safety conscious
    • A desire to learn and grow within our industry
    • Ability to work in a team environment

    The Quality Inspector/Monitor-Temporary Summer Help will:

    • Be responsible for defect analysis (gauging and visual) of finished ware
    • Provide feedback to maintenance personnel regarding necessary adjustments to inspection machines, conveyors, stacker and other equipment to maintain top quality
    • Share information with the forming department regarding the findings of suspect ware
    • Report to crew leaders and supervisors any bad glass, bad machine conditions, or defective machine parts which cannot be corrected
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Previous experience in an industrial environment is a plus
    • Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
    • Able to work night shift
    • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis

    Additional Information

    Hourly Wage: $24.57
