    • Supervise, coordinate, and prioritize activities of associates to meet customer, plant, and management requirements
    • Perform preventative maintenance on the roll forming and tube mills; conduct basic trouble-shooting
    • Presents corrective actions for quality and delivery issues to customers
    • Drive improvements with safety, quality, housekeeping, and teamwork
    • Drive cost reduction through a systematic approach to identify and eliminate waste with continuous improvement in all processes and products
    • Ensures accurate production, quality, and timekeeping records

    This full-time, salary role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Mill Manager.

    Required experience:

    • 5+ years experience operating steel tube mill; roll-forming tube mill experience a plus
    • 3+ years experience in leading a team
    • Microsoft Office at an intermediate level
    • Hilo & Crane experience preferred

  • Qualifications

    Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.                                                                     

    Able to perform arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric procedures in standard practical applications.                                  

    Able to read and interpret work instructions.  Read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop  tools and equipment and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work. Able to communicate effectively in writing using proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Ability to stand and walk the production floor through out the shift.  Job requires ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
