 Quality Manager – Your Job Duties

You will lead the company’s Quality department and team, overseeing quality initiatives and driving continuous improvement.

• Build, mentor, and empower the Quality team (Quality Assurance and Quality Control team members)
• Grow the Quality department with the addition of new team members, hiring, developing and performance managing the team
• Identify and implement Quality department process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize quality performance
• Bring structure to the Quality department including how Quality interfaces with Production
• Challenge the Status Quo by identifying and questioning existing processes and practices, driving innovation and continuous improvement
• Respond to customer escalations / assist the team with escalated quality items

Estimate that your role will be 20% leadership and people management, and 80% hands on doing and strategy work.

• Knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100)
• Successfully utilized methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to streamline processes and enhance quality outcomes

You will work out of our state-of-the-art Santa Ana, California facility, with a team using the best CNC machining technologies.

Your compensation will be $110,000 - $150,000 depending on prior experience.
