We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee our Quality Team. This role is critical in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest quality standards, ensuring product compliance, superior output, and customer satisfaction. The Quality Manager will work closely with Production, Engineering, Sourcing, Sales, and external vendors to identify and resolve quality issues.
This position also plays a key role in reviewing and improving processes, driving continual improvement, and leading ISO audits and management reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary champion of the ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System (QMS) and provide necessary training support.
- Lead Management Reviews to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Conduct internal audits across departments, report findings, and assist in resolution efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer quality personnel.
- Act as the primary contact for customer and regulatory quality matters, audits, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory quality requirements.
- Oversee New Product Process Validation and Change Product Process Validation to maintain quality standards.
- Support root cause investigations and verification of corrective actions.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production and business unit goals.
- Develop and track quality metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality control best practices.
- Lead and manage the Quality Department, including performance management of Quality Assurance personnel.
- Manage and maintain the calibration program to ensure compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality management, preferably in manufacturing, electrical/stamping, or molding industries.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a quality department.
- Expertise in ISO 9001:2015 QMS is required; knowledge of IPC J Standard is a plus.
- Experience in Military, Aerospace, or Industrial markets is a plus.
