  • Responsibilities

    CALIBRE, an employee-owned management consulting and digital transformation company, is looking for an Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces, web services, and backend solutions for diverse applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development and a solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

    This is a project-based role with a duration from February 1, 2025, to September 29, 2025.

    Candidates must have an active Secret Clearance to be considered for this position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop user interfaces and experiences for various platforms.
    • Write efficient, optimized code for front-end and back-end systems.
    • Build and maintain databases, APIs, and services using technologies such as Angular, NodeJS, Java, IntelliJ, SQL, and Git.
    • Utilize Linux for operating system maintenance and support.
    • Troubleshoot, test, and debug software applications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project deliverables and agile sprints.
    • Contribute to and refine SDLC processes to ensure clean, functional code.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies, communicate blockers, and engage effectively with clients and peers.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, OR
      • Associate’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement business requirements.
    • Skilled in examining and identifying database structures based on operational needs.
    • Experience in peer reviewing and guiding developers.
    • Ability to provide feedback and assistance on database changes.

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Proficiency with web service standards such as SOAP, REST, WSDL, and WS-I Basic Profile.
    • Familiarity with SOA stacks (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Service Bus, rules engine, service broker).
    • Expertise in XML standards (XML Schema, XSLT, XPath).
    • Experience with Java Enterprise Edition, including EJB-3, JAX-Web Service, and dependency injection.
    • Background in Army Logistics is highly desirable.
    • Certification or experience with Linux OS (e.g., Ubuntu).
    • Hands-on experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and other agile tools.
    • Knowledge of testing frameworks and methods, including automation, migration scripts, and permissions.
  • Qualifications

    Required Licenses: [Kentucky, United States] Radiologic Technologists and Technicians

    Demonstrates the ability to provide care according to licensure and registration requirements
    Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    Current registration in Mammography by the American Registry of Technologists (ARRT)
    Current license from the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT)
    Basic Life Support certification

    Minimum Education:

    Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
    Formal training from an approved school of Mammography, including 3D Tomosynthesis **
