Dayton-Granger, Inc. (DG) is seeking a Quality Receiving Inspector to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. About This Role:
As a Quality Receiving Inspector , you'll be responsible for inspecting all incoming materials, parts, and supplies that come into our facility. You'll verify certifications, match packing slips, and use inspection tools to ensure everything meets our strict aerospace standards before it hits the production floor. This is a hands-on role where your sharp eye and attention to detail help keep our products safe, high-quality, and flight-ready. Unpack and examine all incoming goods, purchased materials, parts, and processed items
Verify certifications and packing lists for accuracy and compliance with quality standards
Inspect materials using blueprints and established procedures to determine acceptance or rejection
Document all inspection data and reports with accuracy and attention to detail
Complete tasks assigned by management in support of production and quality goals
Follow all DG safety procedures in accordance with company policies and guidance from the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with inspection tools, including height gauges, optical comparators, calipers, and micrometers
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprint drawings
Knowledge of quality assurance standards, supplier certifications, and test documentation
Computer skills: Microsoft Office + experience with ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
Required vision capabilities: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
