    What You’ve Accomplished

    You have completed a Bachelors Degree or experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a nuclear quality assurance role for at least 4 years, possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments, and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

    This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Quality Specialist in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

    • Conducts independent audits or surveillances of external suppliers and internal organizations.

    • Reviews documents, prepares checklists, conducts assessment interviews and prepares assessment reports.

    • Ensures and documents that corrective actions are taken based on report findings.

    • Reviews QA procedures to verify compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

    • Maintains knowledge and understanding of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or other nuclear industry regulations and industry codes and standards.

    • Participates in the development and implementation of nuclear and/or non-nuclear quality assurance procedures to be followed by the organization.

    • Reviews quality assurance specifications, test reports and other documentation to ensure that safety and quality assurance requirements are met.

    • May inspect and review suppliers work for compliance with QA standards.

    • Capable of performing lead QA duties and required to obtain NQA-1 Lead Auditor Certification, if not yet certified.

    • Routinely interface with customers, both internal and external to Framatome to develop processes, solve issues and improve performance.

    • Routinely act as the Lead QA/QC representative for support of projects at Framatome, supplier or customer facilities

    Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

    Your Total Rewards Package

    The range of base salary for the position is between $90,000 - $122,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
