Position: Healthcare Quality Specialist

Location: Hallmark Youthcare 12800 W. Creek Parkway Richmond, Va. 23836

Job Summary: Hallmark Youthcare is an inpatient psychiatric residential treatment facility for young people with complex mental health and behavioral issues. This is an ideal position for nurses (RN or LPN) with experience working through inpatient healthcare quality improvement plans, surveys and regulatory audits.

Great opportunity for nurses wanting to shift to a M-F 1st shift only work week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with internal investigations of quality and complaints
• Monitor and assist with quality improvement plans
• Pre-Survey audits and planning remediations
• Collaborate with departmental leaders to address and mitigate identified risks
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis
• Provide training and support to employees on risk management best practices
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in risk management

Qualifications:

• RN, LPN, or Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on quality improvement plans, pre-survey and regulatory audits
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• General Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft (word, outlook, and excel)
