Quality Specialist - Healthcare Manufacturer - Base Salary to 80k/year - Los Angeles, CA

• Our client, a leading manufacturer of plastic films used in the healthcare & medical device manufacturing industries, is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team.
• In this role, the Quality Specialist with initiate new master, item specification numbers for all new drawings and specifications that come in & transfer it to the company's spec. process. The Quality Specialist will also manage all change relating to document control while having the ability to create/edit items in the ERP system to allow Sales and Operations to easily view specifications on all new orders.

Responsibilities:

• Act as 'input' owner for all things relating to the specification process for new orders
• Identify quality relating issues related to document structure, format, and/or change control
• Update QAD as needed for change of specs, bill of materials, wind ups, and blender sheets
• Act as an interface between Sales/Marketing & Operations to ensure customer specs are accurately converted into internal docs so team can easily read
• Manges weekly specification meeting

Qualifications:

• AS Degree or BS Degree
• 2+ years in quality working in a regulated industry
• Background on documentation side of quality
• Robust background regulated industry: ISO or FDA
• Familiarity with ERP and EQMS systems; preferably QAD
• Ability to use, work in, and manipulate Vision Systems by reviewing output data

Compensation:

• Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 80k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package.
