Quality Supervisor - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 80k/year - Williamsport, PA

• Our client, a well-established and still growing Building Products Manufacturer is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor for their PA site locations; 2 close by in the Williamsport, PA area (400 employees). Our client is an inspiring global leader with 70+ years of experience supporting a wide range of markets and building solutions with plastic, wood and metal fabricated products.
• The Quality Supervisor will possess a focus in Quality for Manufacturing (QMS) that can balance standard processes with some flexibility, offering the ability to collaborate and manage through change in a Continuous Improvement environment.

Responsibilities:

• Onsite, Mon-Friday, day shift 8-4:30 (flex with some 1st/2nd shift overlap)
• Directly supervise small team of QA technicians (2+)
• Determine quality improvement parameters by statistical methods
• Lead workers engaged in inspections and testing activities
• Develop sampling plans (attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods)
• Achieve quality, productivity and continuous improvement goals
• Update Quality Management System (QMS) -incidents, fixes, and improvements
• Prepare reports utilizing data & making recommendations
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge though learning and networking
• Adhere to and promote safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent preferred
• 4+ years related experience in Quality for Manufacturing (career focus)
• Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA)
• ISO 9001, 14001 or similar QMS system
• Lean manufacturing, Root Cause/ Statistical Analysis, Continuous Improvement knowledge & understanding
• Certification in Quality Assurance (ASQ) is a plus
• Understanding of technical documentation & manufacturing methods
• MS Office and ability to use ERP systems (Dynamics a plus!)

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 75k - 80k/year range
• Bonus eligible 5%
