    Quality Systems Coordinator/SQF Practitioner

    Are you passionate about food safety and quality? We’re seeking a dedicated Quality Systems Coordinator/SQF Practitioner to lead our food safety initiatives and ensure excellence across all operations. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in achieving successful SQF, customer, and regulatory audits, including organic and kosher certifications.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Implement Food Safety Programs: Collaborate with Quality Managers to roll out Safe Quality Food programs, encompassing HACCP, Food Safety, Food Quality, and Food Defense plans.

    • Conduct Training: Lead engaging training sessions on Good Manufacturing Practices for contractors, new hires, and current team members, ensuring everyone is up-to-date with SQF requirements.

    • Facilitate Meetings: Organize and drive food safety and quality meetings, document discussions, and ensure timely follow-ups on action items.

    • Audit Representation: Serve as the company representative during FDA, USDA, sanitation, SQF, organic, kosher, and customer audits.

    • Document Review: Oversee annual document reviews in preparation for SQF audits and conduct mock recalls, FSMA, and internal audits, including glass inspections.

    • Problem-Solving: Lead initiatives to address and resolve food safety concerns, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

    • Quality Communication: Manage quality communications with co-packers and suppliers, fostering strong relationships and clear expectations.

    What You Bring:

    • Experience: 3-5 years in a Quality Assurance leadership role, preferably within the dairy industry.

    • Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality assurance and control programs, regulatory compliance for FDA, USDA, and state agencies.

    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and WMS is a plus.

    • Certifications: Familiarity with HACCP, SQF, and HARPC is essential.

    • Communication: Ability to effectively address customer and consumer concerns, and educate teams on food safety and quality.

  • Compensation
    $80,000-$90,000 per year
