    Quality Technician – 1 st Shift (6a-230p)

    To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

    · Support production to ensure that quality standards are met during production.

    · Perform fixture checks, destructive and non-destructive weld checks

    · Execute CMM measurements and perform various audits and measurements during shift

    · Sort, inspect, and rework as necessary on production parts

    · Responsible for training, interpretation of data, analyze Statistical Process Control Data (SPC)

    · Complete inspection plans and quality documents

    This full-time, hourly, role is a part of our Quality team and reports to Quality Engineers.


    Required experience:

    Previous quality experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.

    • As the position requires regular and frequent interaction with bankers of all levels across the firm, the candidate should be comfortable with communicating with a wide range of employees
    • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing business needs

    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite – Excel, PPT, Word, etc.) Salesforce.com is a plus

    Background/Qualifications

    • New York based Hours: 8:30-4:30pm
    • Bachelors Degree (business / accounting major preferred from nationally accredited university)
    • BA/CA with about 1-2 years of experience in financial research and analysis. Experience in working with financial services and related organizations including brokerage firms, third party research outfits, investment banks, private equity firms, corporate finance firms, etc.
    • Good understanding of reading financial statements, interpreting analyst transcripts and guidance coming from top management of corporations
    • Experience in access and use of public information and proficiency with multiple proprietary third-party tools and databases
    • Excellent quantitative analytical skills and experience
    • Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc
