Responsibilities: • Wash, cut, dice, chop, and slice food items to stock prep stations • Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management • Finish each shift by sweeping the floor, mopping, cleaning countertops, and wiping down any other surfaces that were used • Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructions • Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it Qualifications: • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently • Previous experience working in fast food or quick service restaurant is preferred • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Compensation: $10 - $15 hourly
