Complete Description:
· This position is located in the Office of State Superintendent of Education within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This position serves as the Quickbase Developer within the CIO division. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing business needs, translating into requirements and specifications for usable systems and enhancements, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to developing ideal business processes and automates manual work.
The Quickbase Developer responsibilities includes:
· Perform Quickbase application design, development, building dashboards, report, custom forms and pages, user permissions, and workflow design with the ability to evaluate business needs and to translate into technical specifications.
· Perform application troubleshooting, problem solving, monitoring, repairing and maintenance for existing applications as appropriate.
· Provide support by debugging issues, responding to security concerns, answering questions about system functionalities, and responding to enhancement requests.
· Leverage systems knowledge to design scalable solutions across all applications and work with internal staff and external stakeholders to plan long-term platform goals.
· Lead or participate in the development, automations and maintenance of data feeds related to ETL procedures and APIs.
· Research new tools and solutions to meet an organization’s growing needs.
· Performing other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Qualifications Requirements
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, system engineering information technology, business administration, education or related fields and/or equivalent work experience.
· Ability to provide exceptional customer service experiences.

Skills Matrix:
· Experience as a Quickbase Developer or similar role. Required 16 Years
· Mastery knowledge of Quickbase application concepts, principles, and methods including application design, troubleshooting and recovery. Required 16 Years
· Experience with Quickbase application design, development, building dashboards, report, custom forms and pages, user permissions, and workflow design. Required 16 Years
· Ability to identify and build integrations with other business tools or applications to optimize processes. Highly desired 5 Years
· Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical terms. Highly desired 5 Years
