Job Description

We are seeking an R&D Flavorist to support the development and formulation of innovative flavor profiles across a variety of supplement products. In this role, you will conduct taste testing and sensory evaluations to ensure optimal product quality and consumer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including R&D, marketing, and production—to ensure flavor development aligns with brand objectives. Staying attuned to emerging flavor trends and evolving consumer preferences will also be essential to continuously enhance and differentiate our product offerings.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Creating and optimizing flavor formulations that meet product specifications and consumer preferences.
• Performing quality control assessments and maintaining documentation for flavor development processes.
• Collaborating with marketing to develop flavor messaging and promotional strategies.
• Conducting research on emerging flavor trends and competitive analysis to inform product innovation.
• Staying current with flavor trends and consumer preferences to enhance product offerings.
• Optimizing and maintaining organization, inventory, and cleanliness of R&D Lab.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring to the Team

We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field, with a focus on flavor chemistry preferred.
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in flavor formulation or development, preferably in the supplements or food industry.
• Strong understanding of flavor interaction, sensory science, and ingredient functionality.
• Good knowledge of raw materials and flavor ingredients, flavor formulations, solvent and carrier systems, delivery systems, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity to develop unique flavor solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication, computer, and basic math skills.
• Accuracy and attention to details with agility to adapt in changing environment.
• Good prioritization, planning, time management and organizing skills.
