Position: R&D Technician II
Location: Arden Hills, MN (Fully Onsite)
Contract: 12 months, possible extension or temp to hire
Pay Range: $22-26 hourly, paid weekly.
Shift Availability: 1st shift, 6 am – 2:30 pm
Job Purpose:
Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment
Key Responsibilities:
1\. Execution of R&D bench testing independently with reliable, high quality results.
2\. Ability to work with written product test methods as well as verbal instructions.
3\. Assisting engineering staff in the development of R&D test methods.
4\. Performing device failure analysis.
5\. Summarizing experiment outcomes for engineering staff, including creation of datasheets and archiving experiment data.
6\. Receiving work direction from multiple engineers and managing workload appropriately.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Medical device industry experience, test method development experience, device failure analysis experience.
