Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create applicant pool(s) by research and understanding of business need and responsibilities. Proactively source qualified candidates via job sites, databases, networking etc. Establish connections with professional groups, communities and other organizations. Collaborate with managers and HR to discuss their hiring needs and formulate strategy. Assess suitable candidates' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit opportunities. Promote RE Garrison's brand and reputation through various networking events. Develop and manage intern and apprenticeship programs to best suit business needs. Advise hiring managers to help them make better hiring decisions. Design and coordinate the hiring process. Create reports on hiring progress and other recruiting metrics. Assist with on-boarding new hires.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum two years experience as a recruiter or staffing member of an organization. Hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle. Industry hiring experience preferred. Familiarity with various recruiting platforms (e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems). Knowledge of effective recruiting and hiring practices (e.g. social media recruiting). Degree in HR, Business or relevant field preferred.
