Overview: We are seeking a skilled Contracted Attorney with expertise in document review, particularly within the Relativity platform. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong grasp of legal concepts, and the ability to work independently in a quiet workspace with a reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough document review using the Relativity document review platform.
• Analyze and code documents based on relevance to the case, privilege status, and other criteria as defined.
• Collaborate effectively with legal teams to ensure accurate and efficient review processes.
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of review decisions and processes.
• Adhere strictly to project deadlines and quality standards set forth by the client or project manager.
• Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with project managers and team members.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Proven experience in document review.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working remotely and maintaining a quiet, professional workspace conducive to focused work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a contracted attorney in a remote capacity.
• Familiarity with various types of legal documents and case types.
• Proficiency in using the Relativity document review.

Work Environment:

• This is a fully remote position requiring a stable internet connection and access to a quiet workspace free from distractions during working hours.
• Contracted attorneys are expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all client-specific security protocols

Pay rate: Rates vary by project but start at $26/hour depending on experience
