General Purpose:
Responsible for managing accurate, timely completion and submission of a variety of data entry including patient information, daily reporting, and the paper flow of clerical functions in the office.
Essential Functions:
- Schedules and appropriately documents patient schedules in a timely manner.
- Participates in coordinating care with management, patient, and interdisciplinary group.
- Provides effective communication to patients, staff members, other health care professionals and referral sources.
- Responds to Agency and patient needs in a professional and creative manner.
- Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency.
- Promotes the Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Receives and appropriately documents new referrals in a timely manner.
- Participates in coordinating care with Nursing Supervisors, patients, and the interdisciplinary group.
- Provides effective communication to patients, staff members, other health care professionals and referral sources.
- Responds to Agency and patient needs in a professional and creative manner.
- Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency.
- Participates in Agency-sponsored in-service training.
- Participates in the Agency's QAPI program.
- Promotes the Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent (college preferred)
- Two years general office management and human resource experience preferred
- If an LVN/LPN, nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of office machines preferred
- Computer skills required, excellent interpersonal and organization skill
- Good interpersonal skills
- Light typing preferred
- Reliable transportation
- If an LVN/LPN, one year experience preferred.
